Boat Fest 2024 Announces Revised Ending Time and Strict Water Regulations
The organizers of Boat Fest 2024, in collaboration with Cuerpo Policial Aruba and Wardacosta, are pleased to inform all participants and attendees of a change in the event's schedule and additional safety measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
In response to recent developments and concerns raised by the authorities, Boat Fest 2024 will now conclude at 6:00 PM, rather than the previously communicated 9:00 PM end time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize safety and compliance with local regulations.
Boat Fest, an annual tradition, unites all boat owners in Aruba at Surfside Beach Bar for a celebration of the island's vibrant culture, complete with music and refreshments. However, our commitment to safety and compliance with the authorities' directives is paramount.
To maintain law and order during the event, authorities have communicated strict regulations. At 6:00 PM, the music at Surfside Beach Bar will be switched off, signaling the end of the party, and all boats will be required to raise their anchors and depart the area. We kindly request all participants to adhere to these guidelines for a smooth and orderly transition.
In addition to the revised ending time, organizers have put in place strict regulations on the water. We urge all boat owners to cooperate fully with our security team upon arrival to anchor their vessels in an organized manner, allowing ample space for emergency services to reach anyone in need swiftly. Your understanding and adherence to these measures are greatly appreciated, as they are vital for the safety of all attendees.
With your cooperation, nothing will hinder the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic afternoon on the water and at the beach. Let's make Boat Fest 2024 a memorable and safe event for all.
